Traitor Joe's price
IF the public option and medicare expansion are out, then he MAY be getting to the point where he can support health care reform. (per CNN).

6. True--but there's an assumption that if he gets his way on the PO/Medicare, he'll
agree to let the bill go forward, and I'm wondering if he has no intention of ever letting this bill pass.

8. Actually he is quite reliable...
...he can be relied on to stab the Democrats in the back time after time. Oh, and he can be relied on to carry the water of the insurance companies.

5. Sumanabitch is in the pivot chair and he likes it. Very much.
Toss him out of his committee chair and write him off. Seriously. Let him do what he will, but shed him ASAP.

9. I'd be willing to bet money he'll find something else he doesn't like.

I think his goal is the same as the pubbies, kill health care reform, no matter what it takes.
