I'm not so sure. But then again, what could be more humiliating than what Shithead Joe just pulled off. Harry should give it a try.

3. They didn't "defeat" it.

Defeating a bill takes a majority "no" vote. This was a failure to envoke cloture.

On edit - My mistake... I presumed you were talking about the conference between House and Senate when you clearly said reconciliation.

It would be a difficult task to rewrite the bill so that it could get through as a reconciliation measure.
