Barack, nobody said this job was going to be easy...
You ain't seen nothing yet.

At the first hint of weakness, the Republicans will go for the kill. Do not be deceived into thinking you can work with these people.

Know who your friends are. These are the folks that want you to succeed. No one can serve two gods.

The wealthy bankers may have all the money but, in the final analysis, the people have the power. Be careful whom you choose to befriend.

People operate in their own self-interests. And no one operates in their own self-interests moreso than the advisers and politicians in Washington. There is deception around every corner.

But the people, who have nothing to lose but their lives, are not deceived. Do not get on the wrong side. Do not look for insiders for advice. They cannot advise you honestly. Look to the outside for the truth and the answers.

There are those that will give you advise that will destroy your Presidency. Be careful where you tread.

2. I hate to say this, but Obama may already be co-opted by the corporate folks
I am no longer sure he would even think of that as "being on the wrong side".

3. Well, with Democrats it should be easy for Republicans to see weakness and timidity
and a willingness to compromise away anything. Feckless.
