The problem is not with the "Dem's"
Edited on Thu Dec-17-09 02:25 AM by Egnever
The house did just fine with their version of the bill. The problem is the Senate. Condemning all Dem's because of the Senates actions is pretty silly. Not entirely unexpected but silly just the same.

Fingers should be pointing at Harry Reid its his job as majority leader to control his caucus and he has been doing a piss poor job of it for years now.

1. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm not pointing fingers at "Dems".
I'm pointing fingers at Obama, Reid, and the rest of the Democratic "leadership", who used the Senate to twist this thing into a shape their donors approve of. Why bother with the House, when you can push your corrupt garbage just as well using only the Senate?

4. Well I am seeing a lot of posts tonight
Stating its time to leave the party or start a third one or sit out the next election or other such nonsense.

I am also not sure how obama gets the blame for the senates BS. I am quite sure he has been calling senators non stop on this thing trying to get a bill passed. Why is it his fault? He cant force the senate to do anything they aren't willing to do.

And lets not forget there are 40 fucking pukes doing everything they can to undermine this whole thing and they have been since the beginning.

2. Well, I'm not blaming Kucinich.
But I am blaming his former primary foe.

3. There are a few great Dems
But most are in the company of dead armadilos and yellow lines - or still others, with Republicans.

7. Many others with Republicans.
Just a different sub-breed of Republican these days; perhaps, the Goldwater breed.

5. I blame all those who took money from
the insurance industry. They might be employed by us, but they're working for them.

8. The problem is with Lincoln, Landrieu, Nelson, Baucus, Bayh.......
Edited on Thu Dec-17-09 03:23 AM by TheDebbieDee
This is what taking the "high Road" gets you.....nothing!

The conservative Dems should have been too scared months ago to go against the healthcare agenda.

Lincoln, Landrieu, Nelson, Baucus, Bayh, Liebermann and others should be getting their a$$es kicked by the other Dems every time they go into the cloakroom. That's the difference between the repukes and the Dems. The repukes get down and dirty and obstruct. The Dems take the "high road" and get outmanuevered every time. Dems come out looking weak and spineless.

Sometimes, I'm just so embarrassed by the Democratic party that I can hardly stand it

9. Dems in the House are irrelevant because of the Senate "Club" rules
give it primacy.

Really the House should almost just close up shop and lounge on some beach in Hawaii or somewhere.
