I just did it. You need to do the same. There is a backbone in the Senate...just one. Let 'em know we want more.

I'm sending him an email.

I haven't seen the video yet, but I've heard that he put Lieberman in his place.

Had lunch with two Republicans today (boss and boss's boss). I mentioned what Franken had done, and how it pissed off McCain, and they seemed very upset by Franken's bad form. I think the Democratic Party needs to embrace bad form.

9. Thank the people who caucused for Al Franken in Minnesota,

from the individual precinct level, to the state senate district level, to the state convention. They are the people who worked their asses off to make Al Franken the candidate and then to campaign for him. We almost lost this chance.

If you don't live in Minnesota, take a lesson and get involved with local politics and the local Democratic Party organization. It really does make a difference. Or don't, and take what you get.
