Here's a couple of toons for you from Spain, for your health:
(El Roto, El País (Spain's No1 Newspaper)) - http://www.elpais.com/vineta/?d_date=20091217&autor=&anchor=elpporopivin&xref=20091217elpepivin_4&type=Tes&k=

Yes, we're talking about all of us, from experience, but especially about you Americans. And especially thinking about how you health-care business for each other. Hope you don't mind.

(Hey, don't get directionlessly angry: It's me, Ghost Dog. ¡Think!).

(Or, do I need to post a pic of Penelope Cruz?)

... Madrid/Lanzarote - Western Sahara activist Aminatou Haidar on Thursday left the Spanish island of Lanzarote for Western Saharan capital Laayoun on board a plane provided by Spain, on the 32nd day of her hunger strike.

Spain and Morocco had reached an agreement, but the specific terms were not yet known, Spanish media reported.

Haidar would not need a passport, nor would she have to apologize to Morocco's King Mohammed VI, as had initially been demanded by Morocco, said Carmelo Ramirez, a representative of a group supporting Haidar.

Ramirez said Haidar would fly with her sister and a Spanish doctor. She would start eating again only after landing in Laayoun, he emphasized.

Ramirez said a solution had been reached in negotiations involving Morocco, Spain, the United States and the European Union.

Western Sahara independence activist Aminatou Haidar arrived back in the disputed Moroccan territory early Friday on a medically equipped plane from Spain's Canary Islands where she had been on hunger strike for over a month, the Moroccan authorities announced.

Haidar, 42, was released from hospital in Lanzarote in the Canary Islands late Thursday, declaring triumph in her protest at being exiled.

6. This Haidar story is No1 front page news in all the media in Spain today,
has been front page for weeks, and our neighbors Morocco and Western Sahara are always on our minds (and our consciences).

Most of Spain is/was also, of course, al-Ándaluz.

But, you're right. The Haidar-going-home story I posted, just 2 hours fresh, here in DU's LBN was kicked off to mere General Discussion to sink.

There is indeed a reason for that.
