Nat Hentoff..interesting guy.

His thoughts on Obama: (yeah I know Rutherford is conservative)

What I find intriguing is he is CONSISTENT in his beliefs, which seems to have pissed off the right and the left. Anybody who does that sounds like a true independent thinker.

1. He is interesting.
He knows a lot about jazz, too.

Have you ever read his columns, or any of his books? I introduced my kids to ideas about censorship by having them read "The Day They Came to Arrest the Book." My son, who usually reads only non-fiction, could not put it down.
