DVD combo sure to freak you out... "Bobby" and "Death Of A President"
"Bobby", the movie about RFK's assassination through an interesting storyline, and "Death of A President", a very convincing movie about the assassination of Bush in October, 2007, make for a pretty paranoid-inducing combination.

Both movies are provocative and excellent in their own light, but the combination of the two bring a lot of issues forward regarding the politics and fallout of assassinations. A little grim for some, but the two movies together would make a great double-feature and discussion following the viewing.

1. I watched Bobby today. My grandson came home to find me in tears.
It is a very good movie. I hope my children and grandchildren are going to watch it but they will have to do it without me. Living through it twice is one thing - willingly doing it again is another.

I also watched Warm Springs the other night. We can be so proud of our Democratic leaders.

2. It is hard to realize what a loss the world experienced when
RFk was murdered. I found myself in tears watching this too.

...something must be wrong deep inside.

It was a complete tragedy.

What was particularly creepy for me was watching the movie Friday night and then doing volunteer work on Saturday for the Obama campaign where some people thought that he would be shot before he becomes President. It sent chills down my spine...

4. I worry about assignation for most of our candidates. When the pugs
can't win they kill. Hopefully we have good security.
