Gore/Feingold. That is my dream ticket.
Edited on Mon Apr-23-07 02:15 AM by hang a left
Tell me I am not REALLY dreaming.

That said, that is a very cruel rumor that is being spread, IF it is not true.

I have been waiting for someone else to enter the race.

Edwards has my interest totally peaked with the "repeal Nafta" talk. First of all someone has to find out if it is repeal-able. If he is really serious and it is possible; then Edwards is who I have been saving my money for. If not...pfffft. I don't want to be pandered to.

I want someone to come in and effect REAL change. Not just real, I think drastic change is what is most desirable. If the ensconced beltway politicos, especially the dems, don't want to change the status quo; then they have to go too.

I just think a visionary like Gore, and a law and order man like Feingold could get the job done.

on edit:ooops

1. Yes, but every time Whitehouse speaks, I listen.
I'm becoming truly politically enamored.

2. Yes he was very good.
Off the charts, I guess we could say ;-).

However, there is no way he is as experienced and as tried and true as Feingold. Let's give him a few more years to prove himself.

3. When I first heard of him, I thought.. What a brilliant name to have
if you have presidential aspirations..

Can you imagine the ads?

Time for a REAL Whitehouse IN the White House!

I once said I'd quit my job and go work for that ticket.

Good to have Feingold in the Senate. Wonderful ticket but it might be a tad left for mainstrean 'merica.

But yes... the best!

11. Weren't you just on another thread
talking about the evils of NAFTA?

Al Gore was the Clinton administration's point-man on NAFTA. He even went on TV as VP to debate Ross Perot about it. Gore heavily pushed for China Most-favored-nation status, and WTO agreements.

I'm not saying he's wrong on those issues - but I'm confused why so many people who seem to hate Clinton for his free-trade positions are so fond of Gore.

13. Yes I was.
I do remember seeing a thread re: "watch Gore debate Perot on NAFTA". I didn't click but assumed that he was taking an "against" stance.

I would like to know where he stands on the issue now for sure. Thanks for the alert.

15. Gore
was THE guy on Free Trade for the Clinton administration. Pro-NAFTA, pro-WTO, pro-fasttrack legislation, pro-MFN for China...

14. Who on the loony left does not love Kucinich's positions on the issues??
In reality though, he will never get the nod for the dem candidate. At least he can have some influence after endorsing someone.

16. Are you enjoying minimizing this democratic candidate or just
pointing out something you presume to be fact?
