What would you do if you knew Cheney was running 2012?
I just have the feeling...he is not going away.

I think he might even put Sarah Palin up front and run as VP again so he can quietly run things while everyone is looking at Sarah.

You think they would never get elected.... Remember George W?!

Our voting systems have not been fixed. They only allowed Obama to be elected because they wanted someone to blame everything on.

I want to be wrong...but he had his daughter suggest it on TV, it was suggested in the newspaper, he still gets his ugly mug on TV as if his opinion matters, he still has his foot in the door of the CIA....he is not going away....

17. He never got above 22% approval in Bush's second term
everybody except the crazy base thinks this guy is nuts. No way he could ever win an election.

3. He's calling much more attention to himself now than when he was VP and hiding out
in an undisclosed location...

I've also wondered why he's still living in the DC area.

21. Oh he has the balls. That's the problem with the rethugs, too much balls to do insane shit.
Whereas we have to put up with democrats who can't vote their conscience while they have a fucking supermajority in both chambers of congress AND the white house.

Why can't we find principled Democrats who listen to us constituents? Ever notice how the repukes in elected office live is STARK TERROR of their constituents? How they grovel and squirm whenever every dumbass redstate thug raises an objection? How they take precautions not to infuriate the limbaughs and the becks?

In the meantime OUR fucking representatives can't bring themselves to stop gorging on insurance lobby bribes and actually find the time of day to pass legislation that will bring real transformation to American lives.

But I'm planning on that in '11 anyway.
Edited to add: Because of the media blitz and 'Statehood Pride' bullshit that would ensue.

11. He's just saving his own ass by going on the attack
Disinformation, The Dark Side, if you will.... He's 'managing' the news so he can say j'accuse every time his legacy might get scrutinized. His statements serve two purposes. He points everyone's attention on Obama's administration and he reminds people he's still kicking and they better not spill the beans because I guarentee he has dirt on everyone. Both purposes are totally about him.

He won't run. He needs that carefully constructed privacy and secrecy of his.

to his campaign (same with Palin).

Nothing will guarantee a Democratic victory quicker than either of these 2 as the nominee.

20. Pray every day that some one dumps a bucket of s**t over his head
and he can't get it off. He is the worst person along with rove to ever ever ever be called an American. His name should be stricken from everything and I mean everything.

He was so egotistic he tried to order the coast guard to stop people from fishing in a cove, which was near his house he bought with taxpayer Halliburton money, in Maryland. People had fished that cove for 300 years. And this a**hole wanted to stop them ....it spoiled his view he said.

23. That's a scary thought ...
It's far from impossible.

A lot depends on what happens during the next four years. If we get a significant terrorist attack, Cheney and the Repubs will try to blame it on Obama. Of course, the actions the Bush administration took after 9-11 are proving to be prone to failure.

We can laugh at the incompetence of the shoe bomber and Captain Underpants, but still they were able to bypass the extremely expensive security measures set up by the previous administration.

25. Denial
We cannot assume that Cheney will die. (If he does 'die' I'm sure he has his mad scientists ready to rig up his brain in a jar to the internet where he still has control of a body)

I guess what I am suggesting is that...nothing has changed. The voting system has not been fixed, the media is still controlled and lying to us daily. They can create whatever reality they want. Even if Obama is wildly popular, they will tell us the left has turned against him, everyone loves the maverick Sarah and the experienced Cheney...and they will stick us with them, protests or not, they do what they want.

oh...you meant running in 2012...the year, not the movie.

palin/cheney? we should be so lucky as to have that as an opposition ticket- the dems might even be able to prevail if that's the case.

nor does he have any reason to. Chenny seems to like pulling the strings behind closed doors.. which I would wager he is still doing to this day in various parts of government.

I was thinking something along those lines...like we should make sure he ends up in the Hague before he gets the chance.
Maybe a radio station could give away a free trip to Spain and make sure Cheney wins....
