Wonder how accurate they are.

Art has a more eclectic group than his replacement, Nouri, who tends to be very mainstream conservative. Bell also has a wryness that you just don't find in the new guys.

I have to say that Art Bell's wacky callers kept me from throwing my PC across the room more than once. :)

I think it was in the eastern part of Washington (the state), lots of weird stuff happens there.

Anyway, the guy is going on and on about the hole, explaining that he dropped lots of stuff into it, and didn't hear that stuff "land".

Then he explained how he would lower things by rope and the rope always stayed taut. Finally a caller said, "you know if you lower enough rope, the weight of the rope itself will keep it taught" and Art said, "well, he has a pretty good point there doesn't he?". And I think the guest was kind of deflated by that call, which I thought was funny, no hilarious.

And don't get me started about my camping trip when I was alone on the Black Rock Desert listening to Art interview a guest about ghosts that ate people. YES I had nightmares! :rofl:

I hear it's a fabulous tourist attraction for interstellar travelers these days.

Hearing Art Bell guest host these days makes me realize just how much he is a first class radio personality.

Back in the days when he was the primary host, Bell knew (and still does know) how to thread the needle to keep Coast-to-Coast from leaning left or right, making it accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

Unfortunately, George Noory skews to the right with his World Nut Daily guests and declaration that global warming is a hoax.

Nevertheless, C2C is still one of the better talk radio shows out there.

Hi....I don't have a whole lot of time..um...I was a former employee of Area 51...I was let go on a medical discharge about a week ago...and...and...(starts to cry)...I kinda been running across the country...um...um....man....I don't know WHERE to start......they'll triangulate on this position really, really soon... (starting to break up and get more frantic--Art tells him to give us something quick>)...OK...um...um....What we're thinking of as Aliens ...they're EXTRA-DIMENSIONAL BEINGS...that an earlier precursor of the SPACE PROGRAM MADE CONTACT WITH...uh...they are NOT what they claim to be...uh...they have INFILTRATED a lot of aspects of the MILITARY ESTABLISHMENT particularily Area 51...uh...the DISASTERS that are coming...the GOVERNMENT knows about them....and there's a lot of SAFE AREAS in this WORLD THAT THEY COULD BEGIN MOVING THE POPULATION TO...N O W - Art.....but they are NOT doing anything about it... THEY WANT THE MAJOR POPULATION CENTERS - WIPED OUT SO THAT THE FEW THAT ARE LEFT WILL BE MORE EASILY CONTROLLABLE....(breaking up more, starting to cry...)...I started getting...." from New Brunswick came on and began ranting saying that the "government" of New Brunswick shot his cattle with infrared laser beams and killed them... then disguised a helicopter has a UFO and hoisted his cow up into the air, twirled it around and put it back on the ground so people would think that the aliens did it...but it was the government with their ray guns I tell ya! He claimed that they mutilated over 200 of his herd over the last several years...

anyway, you know those black helicopters? Well, I can't tell you how I know this, but...Art, those aren't government guys in those choppers. They are from somewhere else. You know what I mean? Somwhere ELSE. I've seen them, late at night, out in the desert and sometimes in the woods. I don't know who they are, or where they're from, but they're not like us, you know what I mean? I have some pictures, but they are hard to see, because it was dark and all. And I think the government knows all about this. That's how they got the helicopters. Nobody believes me."

Art: "Do you think you could send me those pictures?"

Caller: "I don't know, Art. I think they watch my mail."

Art: "Alright, caller. You be careful and keep your eyes open and let us know if you see anything else, okay?"

Caller: "Yeah, right Art. And hey, I think they know how to communicate with Bigfoot, too, because I've heard some things out there, you know?"

Art: "Well, caller, that is really interesting. Possibly there is some link between extraterrestrials and the phantom creatures on Earth, you think? Perhaps they are closely related, in ways we can't imagine."

Caller: "I was kind of thinking that same thing, Art.."

Art: "Which is why we should all have the Crane self-powered radio, so no emergency can keep us out of communication with the outside world, even in the event of some major catastrophe..."

He also had shows in late 2008 with Gerald Celente and Catherine Austin Fitts. Both are pretty good: Celente is a trends guy and Fitts is amazing at reading the market.

The last time I was listening it was just before the dreaded disaster that would be YK2. I never did order that radio flashlight thing.

It had a hand crank and everything. :)

But of course I'm dying to know if it worked and if you still have it.

I still have it. It can charge a cell phone with that hand crank too.
