Need some more tinfoil? Got it right here....
...the Oxycontin-chugging, Viagra-swilling fat bag 'o shit is more than just a scumbag asswipe, he is a brand and corporations will go to any length to protect a profitable brand. So here's the tinfoil, what if "resting comfortably" is a euphemism for "in a coma?" And what if protecting the brand means bringing in a voice double to fill in for his fat assedness (wouldn't be very hard, blacked out limo windows, driving too and from his edifice in Palm Beach, disciplined use of garages/service elevators, hangar to hangar service for his jet, etc.)?

See I don't see this as too much of a stretch to keep the conflict money machine rolling.

One final thought, I'll be a fat man to a skinny mule that all smartphones, pdas and picture phones are being secured on the wing of the hospital where hopefully he is resting in the sleep close to death.

1. No need
Corporations don't hide the fact then when they have gotten all they can from you, they drop you. When Rush goes, they will simply put another mouth piece in his place.

4. Mush's brother (David Limbaugh) has been riding his Oxycoattails for years.
wouldn't surprise me if he claimed his "right" to the radio show and tried to take over the whole franchise, should Rush be either dead or otherwise incapacitated and unable to continue spilling his bile on the airwaves.

Of course being someone's brother doesn't guarantee success in show business. Just ask Michael McCartney, Chris Jagger, Simon Townsend, or Livingston Taylor about that.
