So let's talk bottom line. What is the one thing that will bring this administration to it's knees?
We've held our collective breath over the truth telling of Richard Clarke after 9/11, and "Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job" after Hurricane Katrina, and the follies of Kenny Boy Lay and the criminal doings of Duke Cunningham and the sewage of Tom DeLay and the excuses of Armitage and the indictment and conviction of Scooter and the war crimes of the entire neocon bunch in Iraq (need I mention names?) and the lies of Gonzalez?

I'm starting to wonder, because I know that once the last chip goes, the entire house of cards will come down. Pardon my mixed metaphors, but I just feel that it is so close. Any ideas?

36. Exactly. After seeing JimmyJeff, I started noticing this about some bald guys.
Is this the look they are going for, or only those with heads shaped like that?

2. I honestly don't think we can
and the more layers we pull back, and the more evil we uncover, all that will be left is the bare truth.
There was a coup in the United States.
That is what I think on my darkest days because if this was a Democratic administration, they'd be long gone.:(

is. I think that's what's holding back the Pelosis of the world, fearful that there isn't enough support to go for it on IMPEACHMENT. Unfortunately, it takes many multiples of the turnout we tend to see at protests and rallies already.

It can also be done by tidal waves of phone calls to congressional/senate offices. Yours, and somebody else's. You can DO IT FOR FREE, too. Convenient TOLL FREE Capitol Hill switchboard numbers in my sig line below.

Numbers. It's all in the numbers. If they think the numbers are huge, they'll pay attention. We've sort of gotten their attention because of November. And whenever I call, I NEVER hesitate to add that I'm one of millions of people who worked our butts off ALL last year so that the Democrats could get back into power in the House and Senate. So we're OWED. They need constant reminders to dance with the ones that brought 'em.

ALSO: as the days go by, the outrages pile up, like the Henry Waxman hearings that have unearthed more and more of illegal nature - check this one out, just for one example TODAY:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=102&topic_id=2818987&mesg_id=2818987

I do NOT hesitate to remind whoever it is I'm calling of this, as well. "SURELY, we've seen enough criminality BY NOW????? WHEN will he/she (whichever congressperson/senator it is) have seen ENOUGH to start/support IMPEACHMENT proceedings???? WHEN???? WHEN is enough enough? Haven't we reached High Crimes and Misdemeanors Land????" Anyway, that's the kind of thing I say when I'm nagging. As in - WHEN THE FUCK are you guys finally gonna get it through your thick heads????? Although I do try to be a tad more polite...

:)

5. I'm convinced nothing will bring down this admin.
Bush has surrounded himself with enough lackeys, yes men, and ass-kissers (like Limbaugh, Hannity, and O'Reilly for instance) that he can basically get away with anything, and the less than 30% that still supports him will back up his actions.

20. I think it is more of a perfect storm scenario - the utter incompetence
of * and company which, in any other era, would make them be gone is being neutralized by a number of factors - one issue voters (particularly on the right on the hot button issues - which they see as far more important as things we value, such as democracy and honesty), the scary cult like religions (the hypocritical fundies - watch Jesus Camp if you want the shit scared out of you), general comfort level of those who are in power, the fact that it is a volunteer army, not drafted - and finally, the fear factor and the skillful use of the fear card by the misadministration. Add that all up and consider where the power lies in the media - money and corporations - and it is hard to see a way out of all this, short of an all out take it to the streets revolution!

22. But what if the answer is...US?
After hoping for answers from the congress, the politicians, the supreme court, the people in DC, the lawyers and legislators?
No one there seems to be able to get out of the tangled web of bureaucracy. Does that leave it up to us, the people? How on earth can we organize to peacefully disable these criminals? Are there precedents?

27. Nothing will bring this administration to its knees.
There is no bottom for these people. The media, corporations and christofascist zombies will never allow that to happen. It is galling to realize that none of these racketeers will ever be brought to justice (Cheney, Perle, Wolfowitz, Feith, Kristol) for the hell they have unleashed in the name of democracy. January 2009 can't get here soon enough.

31. But the thread is starting to unravel, for certain, for whatever that is worth...
Cheney has 0 credibility, and is lower in the polls than Imus. Perle weeps like a little girl and denies any involvement with bush's war strategy. Wolfy has enthusiastically campaigned for the title of Sexiest Man Alive, and is looking forward to defeating Clooney in the 2008 PEOPLE edition. Feith continues his "I Know Nothing, I See Nothing, A Memoir of Me and Schultz" book tour. Kristol has a few moments of clarity before slipping into his, "Gipper, is that you?" hallucinations. Rumsfeld stands on his backporch and salutes tree squirrels.
