2. We have open seats in far more conservative areas than NY.
If he wants to run, perhaps he should consider those opportunities instead. We can do a lot better in New York, however.

7. Either way, we've got far better options.
My point is that I wouldn't mind having Ford where he was in Tennessee or as a replacement for Ben Nelson in Nebraska. We won't get a progressive with a chance at victory in those places. NY, on the other hand, we can do a LOT better.
