A Rant about theres proof the right wing should be committed to a state mental hospital

1) Lying about a personal matter is not only immoral but is an impeachable offense. Yet lying about everything from WMD's to spying on americans are not only moral but the president is making sound decisions.

2)A democratic congress person gives up her seat on a committee because of personal conflict with her husbands business is a crime on the same level as a republican congressman that was convicted of selling his votes.

3)A mad man who the state courts have found to be a danger to himself and others wasn't put on the federal list to stop him from buying a gun because of a loop hole in the states law doesn't matter because he could have bought one off the streets from a crack user. Never mind that the mad man had no street contacts or that without a contact illegal guns aren't that easy to get. The right wing heard that people on the streets come up to everyone and offer to sell illegal guns.

4)Said mad man then goes onto a campus and murders 32 people, not only is the mad man at fault but so are liberals and democrats because they don't want laws made so students or teachers can pack guns of their own to fire back at the mad man. Never mind the facts that not only would there be cross fire when the mad man opened fire but also because everyone would be carrying a gun the mad man would then be able to blend in plus as a added bonus a teacher or student with a grudge against another would then be able to "accidentally" shoot the person they have a grudge against.

5)Supporting the troops means going to Walmart, buying a ribbon for you auto made in China who then uses that money to fund terrorists groups. Yet giving the troops the best equipment,making sure they have jobs when they come back and making sure wounded troops have the best medical care isn't their concern.

6)Helping the poor and disabled is a waste of tax dollars but giving people like Paris Hilton big tax breaks is helping the economy because it free's up more money for them to spend over seas or put it in banks in tax free countries. Never mind the fact that the working right wing nut will have to pay more taxes to make up for the lost tax dollars, better the rich get it because they earned it.

7)Religion run government is wrong when muslims do it but its good when Christians run the government.

8)Taking responsibility means blaming Bill Clinton, liberals and democrats for everything republicans have screwed up, after all the right wing is the party of moral and personal responsibility. Just ask them.

So how many more insane things can the rest of DU find so maybe we can get these wing nuts locked up so they are no longer a threat to themselves or others?

There's nothing wrong with committing those who disagree with us politically, and anybody who feels otherwise is probably a secret freeper. Heck, lick him or her up too.
