Cheney to have leg examined after blood clot
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney will have his leg examined by his doctor on Tuesday, more than a month after a blood clot was found in his left leg when he returned from a nine-day trip to Asia.

"He is going to his doctor's office to have his leg checked out," said his spokeswoman Lea Anne McBride. The appointment "was scheduled this morning."

She had no further details about his condition. When the clot was discovered in early March, Cheney was treated with blood thinning medication and he had a check-up on March 20 that showed no complications.
