Is there a cause of death that causes less fatalities than terrorism?
Edited on Wed Jan-06-10 04:42 PM by ck4829
Security checkpoints in three of five terminals at a Houston airport were closed for about 15 minutes after a passenger accidentally got on an escalator going down, then turned around and ran back up.

Ann Coulter afraid of terrorists hiding explosives in foreskins or hiding them anally.

Somebody is more likely to choke to death on their dinner tonight than be killed by a terrorist.

Right now, somebody is being killed by someone they trust, not by a terrorist. How many terrorists are killing people right now vs people who are being killed by violent spouses or partners?

You are more likely to be killed by an animal; dog, wolf, snake, bee, bear, etc., than by a terrorist. You hear any Republicans suggesting we invade Yellowstone National Park?

A person is more likely to be killed by a fall than by terrorism. You hear any talking heads in the 'liberal' media calling for all the ground everywhere to be replaced with foam so people don't die when they fall?

How do terrorists win?

I think we have our answer.

9. Well, we're at war with terrorism
So it must be a "cause of death." Seems to flow naturally from the tenor of the conversation that's gone on before. I suppose a more elegant phrasing would be an act of terrorism as a cause of death, but we're not at war with acts of terrorism.

Regardless, I think the point is well taken, that there is far too much attention focused on the "we're all gonna die!" mentality that has caused so many people to wet themselves since Christmas.

6. An excellent point!
The terrorists won -- and they truly did -- because we as a nation chose to be terrified.
