11. Your employer sounds better than mine I answer some stupid
questions (every week) and they deposit money into my account. Then once a month I call this number and tell them what employers I contacted for non-existent jobs.

9. I am retired and grateful for my SS and for my few investments that pay
into my retirement funding...if it werent' for my mother's investments, I'd be in very bad shape. Thank goddess for that...I had a good SS check, my investments to my retrement account at work was in pretty good shape, but if it weren't for my mother's investments I wouldn't be in the the great shape I'm in today. Thank god for the work ethic and the savings ethic of my parents!

These and my husband's AFSCME union health care benefits have helped enormously.

What the hell do people think you can do these days? It's brutal...

15. Me, too, Calm. I'm only about 4 years away (with luck) from retirement,
and I dream of the day. No more RW coworkers, no more clueless, passive-aggressive bosses, no idiotic corp hierarchy. God. It will be heaven on earth.

19. If you want we should kick their idiot offshore butts
we're here to help.

Unless, of course, we can find some offshore buttkickers who will kick butt for cheap, even if they're way lousy at kicking butt.

:hi:

20. Love my job and wish I didn't have it
I work for a food bank. I really do wish my job wasn't necessary. I'm the head of fundraising and I also worry about failing. But I do love going to work everyday.

22. I have one for now
and I love it, after ten years of dedication and hard work, they are relocating my dept out of state in 6 months, if i want to keep my job, I too would have to relocate. This is not a desirable choice. I heard through the grapevine that unemployment will be denied because technically I haven't been laid off or fired, I still have a job albeit it will be 3 hours away in another state. Needless to say, I am desperately job hunting now in FL where in my town, one advertised position is getting aprox 300 applicants...and the thought of losing my health insurance scares me more than losing my income.
