the straw man he is trying to create with it will not hold water at this stage

Even with the filtering that goes on by our news media, people are realizing that we cannot win a civil war. Just yesterday nine Americans were killed and twenty were wounded in Iraq

And they sure as hell weren't "clean" like he's now demanding from Congress. Gee, I wonder what changed between 2006 and 2007? Hmmmm.

Well, it's a cinch the popular media won't figure it out and do anything untoward like, you know, informing their audience of the rank hypocrisy of Commander Bunnypants.

4. Go read this bill and then read the ones bush signed for the republican congress

There is no PORK.What is in the bill is entitlments this country needs. Not money to refurbish statues, transit systems to the North Pole. Railroads and bridges that don't go anywhere. What is in this bill is funding for Katrina, and health benefits for the troops, money for education. Nothing POR$K about that. But bush is trying to make it so.
