McCain says,"I stand in Obama's way every day."
Source: CBS political hot sheet/blog

McCain running for re-election to the Senate states he is in opposition to Obama's "extreme left wing" plan to "bankrupt America" by such impossibly "unaffordable ideas" as national health care. His ads(links in the article) compare his Vietnam war experiences to his position against Obama and the Democrats-fighting against evil and "afraid of no man."

McCain once again proves he is a shameless liar and has NO contact with reality. He seems worse than he was in the '08 election, and I believe he is beginning his next presidential campaign as well as running for Senate.

Are there any Democrats in Arizona or just morons who think McCain is a good man?

14. Hayworth is worse
I live in Arizona and have talked to Hayworth's people who work on his show here. Hayworth is a horrible person that makes McCain look like a liberal. Hayworth lost his congress seat because of his involvement with Abramhoff and spews some of the most vicious hate of anyone here in Arizona. I understand there is a Democrat around Tucson that is pretty progressive that is pondering a run but as of yet he hasn't declared.

However, make no mistake about it, Hayworth is a fascist pig and will help the extreme right more than McCain ever dreamed of.

17. Of course, but what difference does it make?
The whole party has gone batshit crazy, McCain always votes with the loons and his periodic attempts at "moderation" are meaningless. I, for one, will enjoy watching him lose to one of his own.

38. Hey, fellow Phoenician! Hayworth is awful, but his primary run might be good for Democrats.
I already can imagine the political ads for the RRR primary; appeals to racism, fear, plenty of poo-flinging. It will be vicious and nasty and will turn off more moderate Republicans. We may be able to court them.

We've got a couple of good Dem Senate possibilities; maybe even Napolitano. It will definitely be an interesting primary season.

20. Yeah, that caught my eye too. McCain is talking in code here to the "base."
When you look at obama's "achievements," they're only what the republicans dictate. So this kind of wording is merely code to resonate with the teabaggers/palinites. That's all that's left of the GOP today.

11. AND this is something a republican should be proud of.
Trying to block the President of the United States from reviewing procedures, making decisions, and carrying they out. Decisions that would help to fix the economy and help our national security.

Damn a dumb a** republican finally admitted it. They hate the president more than they love our country. Nothing new. We always knew that didn't we.
