The writer of the best answer gets a cookie.

Is it Al Qaeda that threatens the U.S. the most, or our very own asshole pres. and his vice?

2. what kind of cookie? Oh, never mind. B/C, alQaeda is a threat in that they may hurt some people, but
moreso in giving B/C the feeling they can do whatever they want

3. I'm not sure this is the right question
But the answer is that of course Bush and Cheney have the power and the intention to do more long term damage to the United States.

That said, I do not favor letting bin Laden off the hook; he's a bastard and we should deal with him. Specifically we should kill him or capture him.

Finally, as an American citizen I have very little power over Osama bin Ladin, but in theory at least, I do have power over President Bush and the Government. They work for us. So naturally my focus is on that which I have the potential to change.

6. If he worked at it the rest of his life, Bin Laden could never create
the carnage that Bush/Cheney have created.

7. W and Cheney have killed far more people than Osama has.
Let's see:

3,000 + dead on 9/11 and the administration ignored warnings of an attack

???? killed in New Orleans and the administration once again ignored warnings.

3,300 troops killed in Iraq

Countless Iraqi civilians killed because of the pointless war

rove. He pulls all the strings, he runs the machine, he's pure evil. An evil seed that was planted amongst the flowers of hope and democracy - like a weed he chokes out everything good and beautiful. I like peanutbutter cookies with chocolate chips :9
