And to think I'm worried about how to pay my bills.
I'm out of words to describe how things are in this country. Read this if you have not read it yet.

1. We don't matter if we are not in the big club.
We have been slipping down the slope for decades and many don;t see it until it happens to them.

2. Disgusting. These fuckers all have bodyguards now for good reason
I've got to wonder why they all seem to think that it's worth it; living behind gates with their bodyguards and guns while the rest of America despises them.

3. Harris Poll did a survey for some nervous corporations.
They wondered what my opinion was of them. In the open comment, I wrote that I hoped whatever they bought with their bonuses would kill them.

5. K&R for the reminder that nothing has changed on Wall Street.
Yeah, it is depressing, ain't it?
Wonder how many people will vote next year for the same Congress people that allowed this insanity to grow?

6. And to think that so many of us work like mad to make in a year what many of those
criminals take for 20 minutes of just being their special selves and driving our economy more deeply into the ground. :grr:

7. The bright spot in that article
was that Dennis Kucinich is going to introduce a bill to tax bank bonuses differently (read: higher).

8. But Kucinich is a 'Purist' and is not a 'Realist' or 'Pragmatic'
:sarcasm:

He'll be very good at railing on and on about how people need jobs, but his ranting and railing won't result in a single person actually getting one. And he won't get that tax passed either.

13. In a way, I'm glad they are doing this.
Even though their bonuses are peanuts compared to what's being thrown at the corporations by our government and the Fed, the bonuses are what's getting people's attention.
