Cheney might even keep his desk at the White House. Rumsfeld kept his at the Pentagon after resigning.

1. No, he'd move to his mansion next door to Rummy in ST Michael's.
He has no intention of "living" in WY, and I think he's had enough of TX, where he was REALLY living before he took this VP gig. No ties to Halliburton, may as well live in the "nice" house with easy access to airports to travel the world....

Hell, he and Rummy could carpool.

4. Please tell me that Rummy doesn't have his desk that WE are paying for.
As far as Mr. 9%... how low do his ratings have to drop? What are they waiting for? A negative reading?

5. Would that be the $175,000 desk that Mitchell Wade (MZM) delivered?
As for Rummy, he's busy these days at his estate, Mount Misery, tending to his African slaves.

6. I believe that after impeachment, the case moves to the Senate for trial.
I'm not sure that resignation at that stage prevents the trial in the Senate.

But there is this (U.S. Constitution, Article 1, Section 3): "Judgment in cases of impeachment shall not extend further than to removal from office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any office of honor, trust or profit under the United States: but the party convicted shall nevertheless be liable and subject to indictment, trial, judgment and punishment, according to law."
