I still think Coakley will win, but I also think the fact that this wasn't a walkaway election has surprised a lot of Massachusetts Democrats and DSCC leaders. The conference call with Poersch I listened to yesterday made it clear that the race was tight, and the people participating (mostly fundraisers) didn't sound happy at development.

Chuck Todd's job is to report on politics. This is politics and its newsworthy.
