1. Why would anyone think she's not his kind of Democrat?
They both have the same moneyed interests behind them.

10. Yeppers. Even a very basic one would help.
American Government 101 would be good. And after that a little course on game theory which is REALLY helpful in deciding which party to support (for the dweebs who think voting third party would be just dandy).

15. Tell me which one is left in the race and I'll be happy to vote for them.
I have three options; I can not vote, or I can vote for Brown, or I can vote for Coakley.

Now, even if Coakley does just ONE thing good, that's going to be one more than those other options afford me.

19. Its a long term Democratic Senate seat
Tell me again why we needed to put up a corporate owned candidate to run for that seat.

Has it ever dawned on the party (and the defenders of all things the party does here) that the reason Coakley is having trouble holding that seat for our party is because she's too closely aligned with the corporations?

Teddy was considered independent from corporate influence, the voters probably dont see her in the same light.

11. For those who oppose Coakley...
it seems to me that they feel better being an opposition party without power. Governing is difficult because it requires compromise. I hope Coakley wins and keeps that seat in the Democratic Caucus. But if she looses, people can go back to hating those evil Republicans that stop us from doing anything progressive.

14. I don't hate Coakley - I don't think she is the best candidate to fill
Teddy's shoes either.

But she is at least a Democrat.
