Be aware of pet and people food, folks

Now feeding your pets just chicken because of all the recalls? Too bad! I don't think this is going to end any time soon.

I was ranting and raving several years ago - right after 9/11 when he started beating his chest about homeland security. "What's stopping any terrorist anywhere from contaminating our food and water supply and what's he gonna do about THAT?"

Well. We saw what the answer was. Nothing. Gut the FDA so they can't do anything about it. THAT was what he did about it.

Oh. *I* feel safer. Don't you?

Oh. But we went to Iraq to "fight them over there so we don't have to do it here".

Now there are hogfarms in SIX states that are turning up with contaminated feed and animals? How did the bad food get to these farms? Didn't the clowns that were testifying today say that the bad food was destroyed? What did they do, recall it and re-sell it? Fuck me. And I think I read something about chickens? This is nuts, it's so scary.

On edit: Either this happened real fast, or it has been going on for a longer time than they are claiming.
