Virtually EVERY credible analyst from Nate Silver to Stu Rothenerg
is saying the MA Senate race is a toss up, and it doesn't take an analyst to see that Brown has the momentum.

If Coakley doesn't do something to turn this around in the few short days she has left to get through to voters, he's going to win.

1. The problem is that she's also radioactive
The Democrats who are most able to parachute in and save her are also terrified that if she goes down, they'll carry some of her stink.

On top of that, many are already throwing her under the bus to distance themselves from her if she loses. Not that she doesn't deserve it, but it's making it harder for her to pull through.

Catch 22.
