The earth is rumbling.

I had a peek at the Global Earthquake Report this morning, here:

I peek at this thing every once in a while and I can't remember ever seeing such a long list of earthquakes in the current report. Many of them are aftershocks in Haiti (by the way they had another 4.7 this morning). But there is some other strange stuff going on... Like a 4.0 in Oklahoma today!!? And we all heard about the 6.5 in northern CA last weekend... well they are having more, including a 4.4 at midnight last night near Bakersfield - clearly not an aftershock from the Northen CA quake.

also just today (in addition to the Oklahoma 4.0) there has been a 5.6 in Venezuela, a 5.3 in Japan.

Not sure what to make of it, and I'm not a geologist or a seismologist, but it does seem like the earth is grumbling a little more than usual.

and I imagine Mother Earth isn't so happy with the way we treat her.

I don't want an earthquake to go off, I have been in one and it scared the hell out of me.

Note. We have felt quakes as far away as Missouri, here in Michigan.

Being in So Cal, I look at the maps right after a quake and USGS's site updates a little faster.

If you use the Firefox browser, they have a terrific add-on called "eQuake Alert", which posts earthquakes >2.0 on the Richter scale in the status bar at the bottom of the browser. It's more or less "real time", and it links each individual quake to more information at the USGS web site. I have had this add-on for years, and there are several quakes a day throughout the US and the World. Venezuela had a 5.6 quake at 1:00 Eastern time. There was also activity in Hawaii, Baja California, and central CA.

We can Deduce..based on the unequivocal Evidence..of increased Deep Sea Bed Drilling for OIL...AND DEEP drilling for WATER...the almost COMPLETE depletion of MAJOR...as in Millions of years old..Underground Aquafirs...and then the Size..Frequency..and number of after shocks of quakes..and...VOILA'-- Something Ain't Working Right!

Sure..I agree..yeah...easy to dispute..blah..blah...More people..more structures..better monitoring..etc..etc..all make for the 'illusion' of an increase...but..uhhh...okay..so..what? REMOVING...MOST..of the LUBRICANT from the system...has..NO IMPACT? Really? Okay..drain all the oil out of your Car and see what happens...

Look...when you hear "Peak Oil" and you hear.."Vivendi Corp. Buying ALL the Water rights to entire NATIONS" or you hear "Oil War" or you hear "Water Wars"...and this IS happening..there is no 'Debate' on that score!...But then somehow..so many of those same 'Ears' ARE able to dismiss the most basic INTUITIVE Analyisis.."Remove All The Lubricants From The LITERALLY..'Globe Sized' Rock Grinder...Uhh..THE Earth itself...And What Will Happen?"

The amount of DENIAL..as to our 'Impact' on Earth..is...still SO far away from being...ACCEPTED let alone DEALT with..that frankly..we just do not have THE TIME..LEFT..to 'Figure It All Out'....AND..'Take Action'!

The same folks that will DENY that removal of the LUBRICANT from the SYSTEM..has NO impact on Tectonics..are the SAME people who can..amazingly..deny that if you REMOVE the EARTHS AIR CONDITIONAER...uhhh..aka The Rainforest..or frankly..ANY.."TREE" Even the one in your back yard that State Farm is trying to COERCE you into cutting down..well...if you DO this..then you REMOVE the CO2 Scrubbers from the system..and..VOILA'! "390 PPM!"

I Apologize for this..but I CAN NO LONGER TOLERATE...The sort of.."Thinking" that PRETENDS that this PLANET..is..somehow.."NOT A SYSTEM"..."NON MECHANICAL"...or in any way NOT subject to the SAME 'LAWS' Humans readily ACCEPT for EVERY OTHER 'MECHANICAL SYSTEM'...and, I might add..without QUESTION! Thus..I have Become..INTOLERANT!

Intolerant of that certain Level of Hypocrisy..that is solely developed in the individual AS an excuse to do..NOTHING..or..to avoid..RESPONSIBILITY! Utilized EVERY time they even HEAR the words 'Environmental Crisis'..They go into "Accept Anything Other Than The Horrifying Truth" mode...and will pretend to 'Believe' even the most..hostile and BLATANT Corporate Polluter Nonsense!

So..Deniers...I say to YOU- Go fer it! See if your 'Above The Laws Of Mechanics'--Recommended approach: First..APPLY the above 4 Dictum's for arriving at a "Testable Idea"...Or..barring that..I'll give you the outline of the 'Hypothetical' or TESTABLE IDEA, you can DO this experiment..and then, I am QUITE sure..you'l have some unequivocal 'DATA' with which to form..perhaps even a "Theory"..or hell..even maybe..a.."LAW"! Y'know..a 'LAW'? Like the 'LAW' of Gravity? Same Results..EVERY TIME!

To Wit:Remove all the OIL and Water from your CAR! See how well it 'Runs'! Remove the FILTERS from your various 'Air IN/Air OUT' mechanisms in your HOME..Office..Car..whatever..and SEE..how well THAT works in your own little 'Micro-Climate'..Go fer it! DO IT! Lets see what happens?

Personally..I do not HAVE to..create..my own..'CATASTROPHIC FAILURE' using my Bicycle(maybe I could do it on my Brother N'laws Big Stoopid Car?)...I can tell you already...from PURE INTUITION..(Brag-Boast!)..that you WILL arrive at something..inherantly MORE..than a mere "Theory" or a 'Testable idea that delivers the same results ALMOST all the time..I bet dollars to dough nut holes..you'll arrive at something resembling..'LAW'! Folks..I realize this is a little crazy..sorry..blame it on Private School education...but..the bottom line is..one does not need to be a Steely Eyed Missile-Man to KNOW..to UNDERSTAND..that these are.."SYSTEMS" we are tampering with...EVERYONE...literally..EVERYONE..KNOWS..for example..that 'Mountain Top Removal' for Coal..is..UNSUSTAINABLE...that it is POINTELSS..that is it being 'allowed' due to the..frankly..'End Times' level of greed and corruption now dominating Across-Cultures...but we KNOW..it is not sustainable..we KNOW IT!

The Earth is BROKEN! It makes me want to weep..I feel so ashamed..and its a sad day when so many would rather just KEEP on as they are...than ACCEPT this feeling...for an 'Unpleasant Feeling' it surely IS! Especially if your doing everything you can already..the feeling of SORROW..and POINTLESSNESS...is..enormous...and then you see people throw some trash out their window..and its just..MIND-BOGGLING..or some GIANT Truck with nary a SPECK of DUST on it...AKA Never Used For A Dirt Road..EVER! Just another 'Pointless'..Non-Source-Point Polluter.

This kind of 'EXTREME' Destruction is going to INCREASE..and SOON..the real REAL grim stuff is gonna begin..the kind of thing that is..UNAVOIDABLE..and that is gonna be a real grim moment!

(CNN) -- A 6.3-magnitude earthquake struck off the southern coast of Argentina on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

There were no immediate reports of damages and injuries.

The 6.2 mile-deep quake hit 220 miles off the coast of Ushuaia, Argentina, at 7 a.m. ET, the geological survey said.

Earthquakes happen ALL THE FUCKING TIME! Plate tectonics, people! This is grade school science shit!

There has been no significant increase in seismic activity, but rather people are paying more attention to the normal activity and misinterpreting it because they are scientifically illiterate.

In a week you'll forget all about it. I, for one, can't wait.
