BUSH: “The Attorney General went up and gave a very candid assessment, and answered every question he could possibly answer, honestly answer, in a way that increased my confidence in his ability to do the job." (link)

Bush's word were strikingly precise, underscoring the Admin's support for keeping a lid on the details of the DoJ Politicization scandal. Paraphrasing... if Gonzales had been more forthcoming and honest, he wouldn't be in his job much longer.

1. Al probably gave Bush that legalese.
I noticed that right away. "He answered every question he could possibly answer, honestly answer..."

No shit, George. No one doubts that. You really think we're all as stupid as your loyal freeper followers, don't you?

4. He was also as smart as he can possibly get
That was Alberto, briefed, practiced, with his guard up, and his thinking hat on.

Imagine what he's like on a regular day.

Oh Lordy loo!
