I was wondering why they weren't using Jamaica
as an intransit stop for people and aircraft and just heard that Hillary will be landing here shortly.

The big choke point there will be passable roads into Haiti.

7. I imagine the SeaBee's can make fairly quick work of that as well
once their equipment is delivered

11. yup you can see a big difference on the ground as soon as shiploads of supplies start to come in
it will make a huge difference in the recovery efforts, hopefully they can get stable aid stations set up and running quickly, but until the ships start arriving its could get very hairy..

13. There are so many details they are not covering
because most folks will not care.

GOOD for Jamaica, and that thing is a short range plane and she will, just call me silly, talking to the locals as well... coordination, good will and all that shtick

14. They reported that Hillary flew to Kingston in a 757.
She then switched to a cargo plane. She is coming back through Jamaica with a plane load of evacuees.

They also reported that Hillary's staff went shopping before leaving D.C. and bought thousands of dollars worth of toiletries and other items. It was reported that Hillary's assistant was seen getting on the airplane with an arm load of Charmin. Her staff also bought cigarettes. Apparently they had a long discussion because it is not politically correct to support smoking but they decided that Haitians are going through enough stress and if cigarettes help get through it then that is ok.

Dems are so unpretentious - can you imagine Condi and her staff walking with Charmin?
