Bush sees a surge mandate?????
Edited on Tue Apr-24-07 10:39 PM by The Count
Today, he suggested that the midterm elections, in which his party unexpectedly lost control of both chambers, offered a mandate for his war policy.

“Last November, the American people said they were frustrated and wanted a change in our strategy in Iraq. I listened. Today, General David Petraeus is carrying out a strategy that is dramatically different from our previous course. The American people did not vote for failure, and that is precisely what the Democratic leadership’s bill would guarantee.”

This is unusually bizarre, even for Bush.

3. I smell a 1932-like mandate for the Democrats in 2008!
Hoover was more intelligent and engaged than this moron.

4. Spin meister
The GOP spend an inordinate amount of time shitting and spraying air freshener to cover up the stench.

6. So how can anyone believe anything a Republican says?
I mean, after 7 years, how? Last November, unless my eyes are failing me, I watched the Dems stomp a boot up the GOPs ass as they flew out the door! I knew it would be a landslide and boy howdy does the M$M like to ignore that fact! George, give it up, you'll leave office with a 1% approval rating. And in prison stipes!

Something tells me there will be no pardons like last time.

8. Why not? Politicians always see what's not there in reality.
