Mother Of All Embarrassments

Losing Ted Ked Kennedy's seat to an obscure state legislator.This would have been unfathomable three months ago.What happened?

I hope the polls are wrong.

This would be a huge setback for the party and a harbinger of bad things to come in the mid-term elections.

This economy better turn around and soon. And now I read the economy would have to create 150,000 jobs a month for forty eight straight months just to bring the unemployment rate down below 9% and there is a real possibility that unemployment will be south of 10% during the 010 election and south of 9% for the 012 election.

2. I believe they are trying to steal this vote.

If they say that she is almost or is low in the polls, it won't look so strange if she loses. IOW, they plan to make her lose. Diebold, you know, raising it's ugly head to help out the pugs. This is our legislators fault. They should have attacked the voting machines way before now. They will live to regret it. This could be one of those times.

I was quite "up" yesterday after making phone calls to MA,
till I came to DU....
and read how there are many on this site,
hoping that we lose, or pronouncing that we have already lost.

Democratic Underground isn't about promoting Democratic loses,
they are supposed to be about working hard for Democratic wins.
