Time for some payback......
If Scott Brown were to win Kennedy's seat and went to Washington and demanded to be seated immediately, wouldn't it be serendipitous to make him wait a couple of months like they made Franken wait? Payback's a bitch. We could pass healthcare before he was even seated.

So if Brown wins narrowly, then yes, it may be premature to seat him immediately.

6. Well if the election was close enough the Dems could take it to court
and delay it long enough for health care to pass while the courts got around to ruling on it.
