Good for frist to be down in Haiti, but bad for him for the
faith based does this best

Free clue bill, they are getting the resources because of the spin up of bad government

YOUR NGO is getting supplies because of Both governments, and NGOS that have been doing this for oh ever

I hate it when people play politics... that is all

1. I Didn't Hear His Comments,
but faith-based organizations have been there for awhile. The Salvation Army is big. My evangelical parents visited there a few years ago on a local church mission. But as far as I know, it's all parties working together.

2. The salvation army has been on these things for evah
but he made it sound like it was the Faith based doing this.

The SA, which is amongst the largest NGOs does not have the logistcs of the ICRC, which rely on the military anyway.

Been to too many of these shindigs to know better.

Some, like the ICRC and Doctors without Borders can coddle, convince or buy their own way... the smaller ones rely on those in the begining.

Hell, I have distributed blankets and rations at the local SA during a flood in TJ... well there are things that at times you have to do yourself.

One of the few times my POV was used for silly shit like that in disasters.

4. Good Photo OP for him.
With the lack of leadership in the GOP, he's in line to run for POS in 2012.
My guess is we'll see more of his mug on TV as this crisis continues. I predict if that's the case, we will see him running.
