This also means that now we have gone from search and rescue to body recovery, and other services

Water, food, secondary medical care, the second wave, are now in the future. Rescue of people is now over.

RIP to the dead, and as much as it pains me, more will still die.

And to the rescuers, from around the world... GOOD JOB...

Now go back to your families... and do what you need to do to deal with this.

For the record this is why the three teams from the US that were still waiting had to stand down. It is over.

dogs are no longer finding people alive. So yes, readying that they are taking teams out means, we are now in the recovery phase. You do not use SAR for recovery, mind you some medics will stay behind from many nations to do medical care, but SAR is pretty much over, and it is six days into this.
