lost.

Editing to include a comment that a meme (Jesu, I hate that word) is being set for the day to discourage voter turnout. Let's burst that bubble. Get the vote out.

16. ....An OPPORTUNISTIC asshole...
...(if there are people, out there, who actually take his opinions "to heart".)

His sophomoric-attempts, to come-down on the winning-side of whatever-issue, are truly amazing.

6. He might try bringing his drunk asset to work on time
He was late as usual this morning. Also, he had the nerves to say that Harold Ford will beat Kristen Gillerband (NY) in the primary even though the poll he was talking about had Gillerband 41% to DLC Ford 17%.....which is laughable in itself (he can beat her, lol). Then he had the nerves to say that Conan O' Brien sucks and should take his money and STFU about how NBC has treated him.

You STFU Joe and learn to get up on time.

25. Joe Scarborough is (typical) Old-School, Florida White-Trash
I knew MANY people (down Florida-way, in the early-'70s) who could easily have been Mississippi-transplants.

Every time Scarborough gets that damned smirk, on his face, you know he's gettin'-ready to "shovel" his bigoted/sadistic/Limbaugh-style garbage.

9. How can anyone vote for this fellow? He
has basically said in public that he wants to kill a health bill that will help many people in this country. He has basically said America, to hell with you! I am in it for the fame and fortune and can tear down this country until it is the way Republicans want it. That is the message I receive from him. He is so inefficient he can't even lie decently.

10. Easy
Because people are frustrated of and scared of this economy and they are going to unleash their anger on the incumbent party regardless of whether their anger is justified or not.

I hope that the 010 mid-terms are not a repeat of the debacle that occurred in 1994.

There hasn't been a Republicant elected senator from Massachusetts since Edward Brooke in the 70s and he was a liberal one.

12. With A Real Unemployment Rate Of Nearly Twenty Percent
With a real unemployment rate of nearly twenty percent that suggests that either somebody is unemployed, underemployed, discouraged or knows someone close who is.

14. So voting against health care is going to help
Being unemployed, etc., does not make people illogical. One would hope. The underemployed, often self-employed, are the most likely to benefit from the health care bill.

15. When Coakley WINS, what will the right-wing noise machine say?
They will say that the unions, the blacks, the gays, etc. came out in force to keep status quo. They will toss out their favorite punching bags. They will just make light that Massachusetts is overwhelmingly Democratic.
Then on to Haiti.
Just like when Hoffman lost in NY, is was a non event that the Democrat won for the 1st time in 130+ years. Nothing surprising there?

19. they will either say
a: Acorn stole it

and/or

b: Dems lost anyway bc it was so close (just like how they tried to claim that the Upstate NY district was actually a "win" for conservatives, since they were able to kick out the Republican candidate in favor of the tea bagger)

21. What will they say?
They'll try to claim she somehow stole the election. They'll refuse to concede and drag it out like Coleman did, and like Hoffman tried to do. They'll minimize Coakley and her win. It's what they do.

34. I did ! I did !!!!
South Eastern Mass, I voted at 8:05, the polls were steady, no lines yet, but a steady flow. We rarely have lines anyway, except for last November. It's raining slush and pretty nasty out. Only sign holder was one lone Brown guy with signs on his pick up. Wierd, there were no signs on the grass either, which is usually filled with them for all candidates.

35. Right on!
I imagine early morning voting is relatively calm as most peeps are doing the day job thang. Steady flow is a good sign. Sounds like voters are jazzed up. Let's hope that most of them are Coakley voters! :hi:

32. voted 20 minutes ago...
I live in a very small rural town in Western Mass and stopped at the town hall on the way to work. I'm at a local cafe, it's snowing, roads are slippery, but everyone i've seen and talked to is a Coakley supporter.

we'll see...

I'm sure he thinks he has a huge viewership in MA, and that they're all hanging on his every word. Nobody is watching him except for the few here that are keeping an eye on him. Here's a fairly recent article about his ratings, which are headed down the drain:
