I am SO proud of my friends......

There is a small group of us who met during Obama's campaign, who became friends. We decided to turn this REAL grassroots group into a community service group. As of yesterday we have a Haiti relief operation going on that includes the local morning DJ, a local trucking outfit, a mall, 5 business's and 2 schools. We found another group who already has the means to get stuff to Haiti, and a list of things they will need almost immediately for clean-up. ALL this is being volunteered, donated. It just makes me smile to know there ARE still people around who can set politics aside when the need arises.:grouphug:

Wanted to add, this was all done in a matter of 3 days!
