Matthews and Noron O'Donnell seem to be calling Election for Brown...anyone else watching?
The polls aren't closed yet and they are already talking like it's a Democratic Failure and Brown will win. Showing polls and saying how hard Brown worked and how ridiculous the Dems are.

I think Dems fell down on this ...not giving funding or something that Coakley was even chosen..but I'm getting bad vibes like I did the night Bush supposedly won in 2000 and when Kerry supposedly lost in '04.

When the Media starts picking winners and putting themselves out there to make it seem like they "already know" the winner....then we need to be worried about WHY they are so confident.

Many Long Time DU'ers remember the Voting Machines. We remember when the MSM is confident...that weird things will happen.

To this DAY our Democrats in House and Senate have done NOTHING to make a "VERIFIED PAPER BALLOT" a Law of the land. OUR DEMS PROMISED US after 2004 they would make changes. So far what changes have been made?

Could this election be stolen but blamed on a Weak Dem Candidate who just "didn't work hard enough?"

We Dems need to watch this one closely. There's too much glee on CNN and MSNBC about Brown's possible win.

Just Saying....

5. Nope, there are NO Exit polls
The consortium that does exit polls was not engaged to do this race because everybody thought it was going to be a blowout. When the polls went wonky, there wasn't enough time to develop a model to do exit polls.

10. According to Huff Post and TPM..there are NO EXIT POLLS
which in the past have been proven to show how folks "really voted." So...WHY no Exit Polling. I'm telling you the whole thing smells.

2. Sticking with the story line they already decided on
Edited on Tue Jan-19-10 05:40 PM by WeDidIt
They couldn't shift reporting during the day because they had no exit poll numbers to use as a guideline, so they're sticking with the same story they've run all day.

4. They are saying "win or lose Brown won independents"
and with 51.4% of MA. voters being independents it is pretty much calling the race.

I think they are basing this on the polling. No exit polls today.

13. True.....but the Voting Machines are still a problem. Why won't our Dems touch the issue?
 If it's a squeaker or if Brown wins? Lots of political stuff on that. And what happens when we have a Dem who is a Much Better Campaigner and they go down in next November's elections? Yet, the Media calls the race ahead of time?

Some of us here remember this....others of you are too new to remember.
