Looking for a RW email so I can fix it
The one I seek is written by someone bemoaning consumer product safety laws...he talks about drinking out of the garden hose and riding bikes without helmets and says it never killed him.

I would like to spruce that one up a bit. Anyone got it? PM me.

2. Christ
I hate that email. Some nut at work sends that out from time to time, and I delete it.

3. Try putting in key words into Snopes
Snopes.com

They usually have the prime suspects along with reality checks for those reality challenged.

4. There are a couple of versions of that email floating around.
Yeah, it never killed him. But maybe he fell on his head while riding without a helmet. Seems likely.

Some of those things did kill my contemporaries. One of my worst childhood memories was the death of a four year old who slammed into the dashboard of her mother's car when her mother had to brake suddenly. The girl died of head injuries after a few days. The car had a padded dash (wow, great safety feature), but of course no seat belts. We were ten. Her sister was in my Sunday school class.

My kids never went anywhere without buckling up.

Haven't these idiots figured out that we learned from the deaths and injuries to children and changed our laws and habits? And it is a different now. It is more crowded, polluted and dangerous.
