Alan Grayson for Speaker of the House
I might be a little biased because he's my congressman. Maybe I get a little choked up whenever I hear him speak. But dammit, we NEED someone like him who isn't afraid to get right in the rethug's faces. We need a true progressive leader who won't bow down to corporate interests.

Therefore, I nominate Alan Grayson as Speaker of the House!

Not that I actually get one, unfortunately.

Now we just need an equivalent in the Senate. Bernie Sanders is who we need there, but they would probably hold not being technically a "Democrat" against him.

And had a number of ideas for more like AN (Apologize Now!)...
These times are to dire for sarcasm. It's really in the realm of possibility these Orgs may exist among democrats.

16. The rethugs in this area are in complete disarray
The GOP here in Central Florida is pretty fractured. You have the Big Money Corporatists on one side, and the "Tea Party" types on the other - and even the Tea Party idiots are fighting amongst themselves over who is the "real" Tea Party. So far, there haven't been any serious GOP contenders stepping forward yet, and it's hard to think of anyone who might be up for that task.
