1. Yes! Then hire Kal Penn as DNC chair? Schedule debates with Michael Steele?
:smoke:

"Kumar" is exponentially more interesting as Tim Kaine and twice as smart as Michael Steele. :silly:

Howard Dean's 50 state strategy helped win Congressional Elections for us Democrats.

4. DLC New Dem Tim Kaine is immaterial. Fire him and you'll just get another DLC New Dem in his place
and nothing will change. Howard Dean was different and productive because he is not affiliated with the DLC, and fought their efforts to move the party ever rightward. With the DLC now in complete control of the Democratic Party Leadership and the White House....well, you see what you get.

8. An empty, symbolic gesture
The DNC Chair is not responsible for the selection of and support of Senatorial candidates. That is the responsibility of the DSCC, which is chaired by Senator Bob Menendez (selected by his fellow Democrats in the Senate), and Executive Director J.B. Poersch. The DNC Chair is responsible for general party management, fundraising and state organization. Last I checked, Massachusetts had a pretty strong Democratic Party structure, but you can't turn out voters for a candidate nobody likes.
