hit California - another earthquake in Haiti. How are the rescue efforts going? Not everyone on DU has 24 hour a day access to a TV.

1. I endorse your request. I hope Haiti news and progress and the dirty dealings
against the people that are already in place by the IMF does not fade away. The life damage and comeback is half of my request - the political= finanacial preferential aspects is the other half.

HOW CAN SO MANY NATONS AND ENTITIES FOCUS SO MUCH ATTENTION ON HAITI ... WITH SUCH POLAR OPHOSITE INTENTIONS AND ACTIONS?

Excellent information - long talk with a doctor.

12 c 12

There is something fishy going on - all the talk about insecurity - 12,000 US soldiers with heavy duty guns have just appeared at a make shift hospital in part of the main hospital - the soldiers are keeping the people from organizing and helping each other with taking care of the maimed as they have been doing for a week - in the name of security - showing their might with disregard for work in progress even when the work in progress is going out to buy hack saws for amputations.

A doctor tells it like it is - they have supplies that are going to run out in 12 hours.

At the same time there are 12,000 soldiers and it was mentioned by the doctor that there is no insecurity at that makeshift hospital in the heart of the city - said you could hear a pin drop at night.

12 hours of supplies - no food when people come off the IV. No pain killers. No analgesics.
