Pass the Senate bill, then work on unemployment.
Frankly, that should have been the priority a year ago. If people are worried about losing their homes and eating, their anger will directed at whomever is in power.

1. SCREW THAT - DROP the Health Care Bill altogether and work on EMPLOYMENT.
People don't want "unemployment" insurance they want JOBS.

and drop the crappy health care bill neither the House NOR the Senate bills are worthy of passing - come back to it and pass SINGLE PAYER or try to and then if it fails use it to attack Republicans with in 2010.

3. That's what I meant. Work toward economic recovery.
I still think there are important things in the Senate bill despite the subsidies.

4. I disagree
I think 2009 was an off election and they wanted to give it one year to stabilize the banks. They were willing to eat a year of anger. Now with investors more relaxed they are in position to start working on regulation in the election year. In the end all of this should lead to more jobs provided they stick to their plan.

7. Yeah, but there's only one Senate finance committiee...
