Tom Morello rips W on Tavis Smiley last night
Did anyone see Tom Morello (Rage against the Machine, Audioslave, Nightwatchman) on the Tavis Smiley show last night?

He was ripping Bush all through the show. He said that impeachment was too good for *. He said that if the Geneva Conventions were properly applied, then * would be convicted as a war criminal and hanged.

He also talked a lot about politicians (Dem and GOP) who place more of an emphasis on fundraising than values.

Funny - his Illinois accent sounds almost like Barack Obama's.

He played a song (Nightwatchman) at the end. I hope someone caught the interview and song on You Tube. I checked on DU Videos, but not You Tube.

That was apparently a repeat broadcast. It was added to You Tube on Mar 9, '07.

The interview was not there.

4. Tom Morello is at least one of the top 3 best living guitarists
independent of his political beliefs, which I happen to agree with.

5. Morello said from his experience progressive change does not come from above.
He worked for Alan Cranston for two years. Good interview.
