Well, look what we found here! A commenter on a post has pointed us to this trailer, which seems to be very real, and bears the same graphics that were on the invite for tomorrow's Apple event. That same Apple Event where they'll supposedly debut the Apple Tablet or what we've been lead to believe (and scoff at) will be called the iPad. After the jump, check out THE FUTURE.

I don't want much. I want wi-fi connectivity, the ability to read books and newspapers, play games, surf the net, e-mail, and schedule events. Oh, and I want it cheap, because I don't make bank. If the the new Apple computer does this great. If not, at least end AT&T exclusivity, so that I can buy an iPhone without having to deal with dropped calls.

I could point out about 20 reasons this is fake, but I will only name one big one.

This fake has a Firewire 400 port. Apple abandoned FW400 around two years ago.

Seriously, that ad looks like something that could have been put together by any half-competent high schooler. The back of the 3d model, where the ports are, is textured with a direct photo of the side of a macbook--the creator didn't even bother matching the colors properly.

I love the IPOD since it is like portable... and a good way to do writing and readying on the road, but 1000 for THAT?

You'd think after the Airbook, they'd get it.

I pray it's $600 or less, but my gut says $699. But I have a feeling that there will contracts with service providers that will underwrite the price.

It may come out to be as low as $300 or $400 with a contract. Also, Apple is negotiating with all of the big media companies. Who knows what incentives may come from that.

How about you pray for something not so self centered like ending world hunger.

As I said, I have a netbook that pretty much does a lot of this and I am not going to be spending money on more toys.

Especially now.

What is the game changing app for the tablet? It has to be more than a netbook with a much less efficient keyboard.
