But democrats ignore their base and even ridicule it???

They are screechers sucking down soma. Of course they want to feed them more of it.

Neither party appears to be aligned with their base. Republicans use them as pawns and Democrats ignore us and then complain when we don't acquiesce. The pawn never complains when the pawn is well-fed.

4. The GOP base supports big business
The Dem base is smart enough to understand that big business is the underlying cause of our country's problems, so we have to be ignored so the Dem politicians can compete for corporate goodies with the Republicans.

They don't mind pro-wealthy economic policy so long as they get a few symbolic bones tossed their way on things like abortion. They're idiots.

Liberals want more for the poor and middle class, and neither party likes that.
