Anti-choice commercial for Super bowl - contact CBS and tell them NO!!!
I intend to not watch the portion of the super bowl that features the anti-choice "religious" commercial, and I intend to tell CBS that I am doing this and why. Link is to a Contact page for CBS; http://www.cbs.com/info/user_services/fb_global_form.php

They claim to "read all our emails", so give them something to read.

I am trying to determine when the commercial is scheduled to run, and will certainly not watch at that time.

If you have any idea of the time or of a better contact method, you won't hurt my feelings if you post it here.

Thanks.

mark

1. We should pitch in to run an anti-war commercial
I bet they refuse it.

and yes, it was refused, for being in "poor taste". Erectile dysfunction ads are okey-dokey, though.
(edited) for spelling)

4. I wonder if any women's
organizations are planning a counterattack ad. Seems like Planned Parenthood would be on top of this.

8. Don't Feed The Kitty...
Part of FOTF's strategy is to create a stink...then the cables will run the ad dozens of times...they're looking for as much free pub as possible. Don't bite.

The ad is a huge waste of money if it doesn't get the "outrage"...most people are watching the game to be enetertained, not lectured. This ad could backfire in negative reaction and it with the polarity on this issue it sure won't be changing many minds. If the game's a blow-out, it's an even bigger waste as the audience is sure to shrink (not to mention the many who use the commercial breaks to hit the bathroom or get a sammich).

I'd rather see them waste their money this way than to fund politicians or local groups working against a woman's right to choice or gay marriage.
