Morning Joe-laughs off O'Keefe story
When they finally got to it Joe laughed several times as the story was read and loyal sidekick Willie compared O'Keefe to "Fletch" (the Chevy Chase movies).

"Tampering" is the word that they used several times-not wiretapping TAMPERING you now have the story sufficiently framed, dismissed, and inaccurately reported. I don't think that "FBI" was mentioned, he was just "charged in Louisiana".

Of course they couldn't show anything but the old ACORN footage.

Apparently O'Keefe is officially an "activist" in the MSM template.

I turned on just to hear the reaction since Joe Scum pushed that crap against ACORN non-stop. :puke:

3. just found this : Anti-abortion movement gets a new-media twist
this is news to me, but probably already has been posted.

~snip~

In fall 2006, when she was a UCLA freshman, she and fellow conservative activist James O'Keefe came up with the idea to infiltrate clinics.

Rose, by e-mail, and O'Keefe, in a phone interview, said they were inspired by the work of Mark Crutcher, a Texas antiabortion activist who in 2002 taped fake calls to hundreds of Planned Parenthood clinics around the country featuring women posing as pregnant minors.

They also found an unlikely source of inspiration: "Rules for Radicals," a handbook on grass-roots organizing by Saul Alinsky, a legendary left-wing activist who was an inspiration to President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton. Among Alinsky's most famous admonitions is one that O'Keefe said he and Rose took to heart: "Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules."

O'Keefe, 24, said he and Rose have received criticism from some of their associates for using deception. "It's a pretty complicated ethical issue," he said, "but we believe there is a genocide and nobody cares, and you can use these tactics and it's justified."

5.  "Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules."
How prophetic.

Seems to Mr. O'Keefe the rules only pertain to others...soon he's going to learn justice is blind. Activism is all well and good...even for right wing nutcases, but committing federal crimes is a whole different animal. Someone pointed out that this was more an act of terrorism.

Lastly...what's this "genocide" this shitstain is going on? Doesn't matter now, he'll be spending the next 10 years in the grey bar hotel.

4. I watched just for that reason
and they seemed to reallllly put off even mentioning it, talking forever about the WSJ/nbc poll, editing out the results that were unfavorable to republicans. And when the O'Keefe story came up, it got a mere "teehee, how silly!" type of response from Joe. Typical.
