Make Laugh, Not War. The Anti-War Comedy Tour
Edited on Thu Apr-26-07 07:58 AM by IanDB1
Founded by Dave Reinitz in 2006. The Anti War Comedy Tour consists of a group of comedians who are dedicating their craft to help end the war. These comedians truly believe that the Microphone is more powerful than the Cruise Missile. The show features 4-7 comedians, performing Stand-up comedy, Improv and a reading of the News similar in style to “The Daily Show.” The Mission and goals of the group are stated clearly at the opening of every show. At the end of the show all audience members are asked to sign a petition to STOP THE WAR!

The group is currently hosted Troy Conrad (comedy Jesus), and also includes Dave Reinitz (Founder), Lamont Ferguson, Spencer Dobson, Jim Ruel, David Schendlinger, Erin Ashby and Jimmy Dore. The show is managed by Barbara Holliday of H2F Comedy Productions inc. out of Los Angeles California. H2F specializes in producing live comedy shows and representing comedians in the college market.

Then there's Dan Navarro of the acclaimed hit-writing duo Lowen and Navarro. You might remember "We Belong," sung by Pat Benatar. Then we got a Band. That's right. A Band. Drums, Bass, you know.
