You know how Tweety is always trying to turn current events into a movie script?

How he is forever viewing life through the silver screen and assigning real-life people the roles of characters in his screenplay for the nation? Well, I want to assign him to a character. I was watching "Lady in the Water" for the first time this morning. I'm a Shyamalan fan but had not been able to see this movie before. What an amazing tale! Well, as the storyline unfolded, I recognized Tweety in the character of Farber, the critic, who thinks he has seen it all and can plot the world out because every event has been scripted. His jaded certainty leads him to draw flawed conclusions and put them forth as truth, which leads others astray when it comes saving the essential "Story." This fable worked on so many levels, but also presents me with an opportunity to plug the conventional wisdom media insider right where he'd like to be--in a script on a silver screen. When thought of in these terms, there was something satisfying on a metaphorical level when the Scrunt got Farber and the integrity of Story was preserved.

and the moment he can remember anything he ever did that was remotely similar to whatever is being discussed he shouts down everyone around him so he cam blabber some claptrap to put him in as the center of attention.

9.shows arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes
